We can compete with the Virginia teams and Pitt. Who else do we have a chance against?

call me crazy, but I think that win one that they aren't supposed to; a game where it comes together for the younger players. then again, that could be the alcohol talking...

As long as it is UGA you can be as crazy as you want.

The teams we should beat are UVA, VT, and Pitt. After that, we're down to UGA, FSU, Clemson, and Miami. IF we beat the teams we should, we have to find a win against one of them. Did Paul get complacent with a new contract?

No he didn't. He screwed the pooch at the end of the 1st half today. Doesn't mean that he doesn't want to win. The team has lots of issues right now, but let's not start the nonsense that the staff doesn't want to win or is complacent or fine w/the season running off the rails and into a ditch.

That would be hard to believe. He has spent his entire adult life working towards the opportunity he got this season, the the chance to coach a team in a position to win it all. I don't think he just punted on that because he didn't have to worry about his contract.

How are we so bad on offense? We didn't have experience his first year either and it wasn't this horrible. What I'm asking is did he have the same intensity off season as he did year one.

Ummm...Nesbitt, Dwyer, Roddy, etc. are much better than anything we have in the backfield right now.

In addition, none of the WR's are on the same planet as Bebe was.

I think that it is poor blocking and at times, CPJ has had some strange play calls (like today--before the half and the goaline on 3rd and 4th down).

FWIW, a friend of a friend is on his staff. He said that CPJ is incredibly competitive and hates losing. I think that the issues really are personnel executing poorly (and yes, that does ultimately come back to him). Injuries sure as hell haven't helped.

When did Miami become the '85 Bears? Have you all seen how craptacular they are this season? They damned near lost to mighty Florida Atlantic.

I actually think Tech's ability to keep the bowl eligibility streak alive has 0% to do with their schedule/opponents because nobody on the schedule remaining has looked like a world beater. At this point, it's a matter of whether the offense learns to put together a full game of typical Paul Johnson Tech execution. If they do, they've got a puncher's chance in every single game, because the defense hasn't been dreadful until the colossal hosing that took place when Gotsis got kicked out of the game in the Second Quarter today.
