What happens if we lose to Duke?

All right I'm mainly posting because I'm bored...

But, seriously I was thinking about this last night?
What would happen? Would that be enough to give Tenuta a shot for the rest of the year? Would people go to the UNC game at all? Could we possibly sink that low this year?

I would seriously lose my cool if we lose to the Dukies again...
 
Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to hang on to Tenuta after this season, and I don't want to see him as our head coach next season. I think he makes the perfect interim HC, but I don't know how he would feel about the demotion after the season ended. So I think you have to let Chan play the season out. Let's all hope we don't have to worry about this scenario.
 
Loosing to Teddy Roof, could only be as bad a Hillary Clinton being "their" next President.

I do not think there enough Bourbon in the SE to get the taste out of my mouth with the "Teddy winning" statement.
 
A loss to Duke would drastically simplify the topics on this board. :)
 
I'm pretty sure we won't lose to Duke, although for some reason we NEVER play well at their place. If the players are in a funk after the season collapse and "booing" incident, it might happen.

I never would have thought that Duke would have done us the way they did a couple years ago at their place, so nothing with this team is out of the realm of possiblility...

Yeah I still remember a Duke 41-17 game a couple of years ago. Yikes! I pray too contact, that this won't happen and it probably won't but, hey it could. I personally think we'll win but I'm nervous about the UNC game... I think I'd officially go to DRAD's office and ask for a head on a plate if we lose to Duke though... Prob wouldn't get that far but I'd try...
 
If we lose to Dook Gailey should find his office furniture sitting out on the curb when he gets back to Atlanta.

It won't happen. That Dook team wasn't terrible - they had a SR QB, a solid SR running back and a pretty experienced OLine. While Duke's QB (this year) may be turning into a decent player, they really don't have much else to lean on.
 
Remember the Alabama story where the moving van was parked outside the coaches house? Chan's house will be empty before he gets back from Dook. You real estate guys may want to get ready just in case, Chan needs you.

Off for another Knob Creek, this thread leave a S&^$ taste in my mouth.
 
Good points contact, your erasing my doubts now... I mean it's been a letdown of a season but even Gailey can beat dook. I hope

Losing football games just does NOT seem to be as critical at GT as it once was.

Duke's game is no more important that anyother game.
Nothing happens other than we all go on bitching and sharing all the ways to fix the problems but it does no good.
Nothing happens, get used to it.
We're getting better at it as we go along.
 
I would send a note to Dan (which would be accompanied by my shredded UNC tickets) and say if GT has quit, macdaddy2 has quit. Why don't I turn them in for AT credit, I am afraid they would give them to an unfortunate inner city kid and I can not be responsible for the damage imposed on a kid from watching a football team led by CCG. :eek:
