What happens in a 3 way tie with us, Miami, and VT?

VT. Division record is the second tiebreak and they would only have one division loss. Miami would have 2 and we have 3.

I'm also a UVA football fan for a few hours next Saturday.

the first tie break is head to head right amongst the three tied

GT will be 1-1
VT will be 1-1
Miami will be 1-1

Then division record, which is what you showed.

VPI would be 4-1
Miami would be 3-2
GT would be 2-3

So bottom line its simple Need VT to lose one....then we are in. it would be a two way tie between us and Miami....and we won head to head. If you look at the math, Miami was eliminated the second the ball was kicked off vs Us.
