I hope by "family" issue with Jenkins you're not saying that he has a mom or dad that wants him to stay in Florida. If that is the case, I'd hard to go against the wishes of mom and/or dad.

Who cares what the family issue is? Let the kid make the decision that's best for him. If, in fact, the family doesn't want him to attend GT what good would he do by "going against their wishes"? The chance of his success would severely decrease if the people closest to him aren't comfortable with his decision. If he were to commit against their wishes, then we likely be looking at a de-commit or a transfer down the road. {See: Zam Frederick}
