young man and really dissected his why he should be a Yellow Jacket. Here it is from Insiders Recruiting:

"There were a lot of reasons why I committed to Tech,' said Scott. First of all, I love that team and I see so much potential. We will compete for the ACC title and to a BCS in the future. Hopefully, we will play for a National Championship.

"Secondly, I love the coaching staff...every single one of them. They have a great blend of youth and wisdom.

Thirdly, I love the city of Atlanta. Also, I wanted to experience something different.

"You don't know how much pressure there was on me to go to Florida State and some of these other places. But the bottom line is that I had to make the best decision for me and my future. And Georgia Tech is my decision."

I loved what he had to say because when it's all said and done, the recruits who ultimately commit to GT know deep down what this school, its education and its football program can and will do for them. It's obvious Kenny Scott recognized immediately what that was!

Sounds like there was a lot of pressure on him - but he did what was right for him! Kenny welcome to the Georgia Tech family!

Read that and agree it's nice to hear. The coaching staff had a lot to do with it as well obviously. It always does.

Go Jackets!
