What offense does PJ run?

They run a triple option offense. The majority of the plays are in the flexbone formation.
 
Different variations of this basic formation, its also common to see a TE instead of a 2nd WR. Pretty much a Wing T if you ask me.

Would be very interesting with Dwyer and Evans. Very, very interesting.

Is Booker much faster than Taylor?
 
If PJ is the coach, we've seen the last of Taylor except holding a clipboard.
 
Can Johnson develop a quarterback? If so, and if he can whip Nesbitt into shape, have a QB that fast in the flexbone/Wing-T with the likes of Dwyer and Evans - with the threat of a potential air attack that doesn't make the home crowd reach for oxygen masks.. we might be dangerous on offense next year.
 
Does his offense pass the ball at all? Everytime I watch Navy this season they are running the ball... If PJ did install this offense to GT... do you think it would have an affect on Renfree?

From reports I've seen Renfree is a pretty fast runner, so it might not affect him that much.

PJ will adapt to an offense that will win at Tech. Winning coaches adapt. Its the W that counts not schemes.

You are correct and PJ has always adapted. Now if we can convince him that Mustangs are not part of his future...
 
I think SMU has flown Paul Johnson's wife in to check out things, frankly I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell he's going to be our next coach.

But they didn't win as much as air force this year. Air force looks to be the team to beat in the armed forces race for years to come. I think it is safe to safe the AFA has a better football coahc than Navy and he has run lots of different offenses other than the option.

Let's raid the AFA!
