Saturday, was the way GT came out of the shutes playing football like it was GT's game to win.

GT started the game off from the kickoff like all they knew how to do was just go down for a touchdown.

To me this is MUCH better than coming out just trying to get a first down.

YEP, that is a crowd pleaser kind of football, and it was just what I needed to see.

I'm kinda thinking this is also along the lines of what RM-2 was wanting to see in the Notre Dame game.

Maybe now, Coach Chan Gailey has moved past his disappointment in not being able to call his own plays anymore.
If so, the sky is the limit for CG. He is a great man, a great closer, and a great representative of GT.

We will be unstoppable if we open every game like we did against VPI on Saturday. 1st play went for 50+ yards, now that's a statement to the other team that we are going to annihilate your ass.

?!

Umm, yeah. I categoricaly guarantee that we win every game in which we score 21 points in the first 10 minutes.

Yep, that has got to be one of the most exciting 1st plays

...I've ever seen. As the announcers noted, apparently our offensive brain trust saw something on film that told them that if they ran that play JJ would have single coverage by a safety, and sure enought, he did. I was a little surprised he didn't take it to the house, but we got the points a few plays later so it was fine.
