What surprised me about Tenuta...

I really expected a firey coach on the sidelines yesterday. Hell, he was calmer than Mark Richt and Chan Gailey combined...or at least what I saw of him.

This really took me off guard. He usually gets all fired up in his DC box upstairs (whenever they show him on TV).

What the hell hapenned to his demeanor? Was he nervous/uncomfortable with being THE GUY?

What a terrible display.

After the game the TV cameras were on Tenuta when he met Pat Hill at mid-field and he was grinning from ear to ear. Not going to try and interpret what it means.

No, Please do! I'm sober right now and your comments might push me over the edge to get the year started in right fashion.

Do not usually knock coaches very often, but defensive and offensive game plans appeared weak to me. Especially defense. We made some big plays on offense, but also had some luck there. Plus a big play by our ST, the block. Overall, I was not impressed with JT's one game tour as a head coach.

Not what I expected from a DC who needed to be showcasing his skills to make himself more marketable!

We all knew we had a lousy secondary that could be picked apart with 8 yard tosses to TEs. But, considering our stats against the run, it was pathetic that we couldn't even shut down their little sawed off runt of a running back.

(Sorry if this has been discussed to death on other threads. I just got back from Boise.)
