What time will y'all be heading to BDS?

We will be there around 5:00. Our daughter is cheering at Shorter at 1:30 and then we will make a
"BEELINE" for BDS!

We were thrilled that the Jackets didn't play until 8:00.

Hell, I will be there Friday night setting up the tailgate and firing up the smoker!

Hey GGGT, My old HS coach is the HC at Shorter, Coach Phil Jones. Everyone from my hometown really hopes he does well there at building that program up.

I'd love to read some info on the team. Maybe when the game is over, and you get time, I'd love a little pm about the game, offense they run, defense, etc. Or, maybe a good writeup on it somewhere on the web.

Assuming you mean what time shall tailgating start...

My rule of thumb is generally 5 to 6 hours before gametime, but in no case less than 4 hours before toe meets leather.

Since I'll be driving up from Albany on Saturday, I'm shooting for an ETA of 3 pm. I usually get to places early. I can't even stand to miss the trailers at the movies.
 
I'll be there no later than 8 a.m. Gotta get a good spot for gameday. I figure a solid 7 hours of tailgating will do the trick! Gotta leave the tailgating spot in time to be in the stadium early though. BRADY'S BUNCH IS GOING DOWN!!!!
 
Between 10am and noon.

Although some of our group will be there around 8am to secure our spot.

BTW, did I hear correct that they are starting the Moe's National Burrito Eating Contest the same time as YJA? Seems like poor planning if accurate.
 
The first part of our crew is rolling in Thursday night. I plan on being there early Friday afternoon.
 
8am for gameday, then possibly heading back home after gameday to grab some lunch, let dogs out one last time, then straight back over to campus (i live <10 minutes from campus). ETA for tailgating of around 2pm...

<----Leave that guy alone for too long in the house and he leaves quite the large suprise :)
 
I really think the campus is going to get packed real early on Saturday. The people coming at 5PM, for a little tailgating, are going to have trouble finding a suitable area, IMO. The Physics lot is going to be filled by 3PM.

If any tailgating is going to occur I think you will need to get there at 2PMish.

Does anyone agree with my assessment?

Dean - are y'all going to the Atlantic Station pep rally or hanging out at AMC Fri night?

I'll get my tailgate on around 8am Sat morn but may try to stop by AMC for a few minutes after work.

Big game + High demand + 1st home game in ~9 months + ESPN Gameday = You're probably right. It won't be impossible to come in later (esp if you have a parking pass) but it will certainly be more of a hassle than most of us are used to.
 
Since i park at Peter's I thought about getting there about 1

The wife wants to come down about 4 and park over at Synergy parking deck.

Me and my crew will be at O'Keefe

by 9:00 AM. We've got a pork shoulder to smoke, prime rib to cook, turkey legs, jumbalaya, man, it's gonna be a FEAST.

2 TV's hooked up to the satellite, stereo system for volume, we're ready.

Ya'll come by - we're on the Fowler Street side of O'Keefe and will be set up near the port-o-jons.

I'm not quite sure what the synergy deck is, but if it is that deck kinda across from the Cheetah (1st one down), I parked there for the UGAg game and I was on the interstate in about 10 minutes.

I'll be showing up about noon or so, jumping on MARTA, and going down to see some HS football at the Dome.
 
Well, based on the experiences of past UGA games at home and the fact that this game is most likely bigger, we're definitely setting up shop EARLY on Saturday. Planning to arrive at the lot @ 6:30am and party all day long.

If anyone's in the area of lot W24 (corner of State and Ferst), swing by and say hi!

We're going to the volleyball game and then probably just hang out at AMC.
