What was with the fake punt today?

After taking a 5 yard delay penalty, Tech went for a fake punt running play! That might have been the dumbest call of the year. Why the delay penalty, and THEN the fake?... WOW!

That is among the top 10 dumbest. There have been quite a few this season. They make one scrach his head asking "What?"

stumbled me too ...

maybe the philosophy was to take the penalty therefore completely sell the idea that we're going to punt .. and try and catch them offgaurd.

very questionable indeed ..

would have looked peachy if they had pulled it off but looked very stupid when it didn't happen
 
i don't know what happened .. i am just speculating .. no point speculating over speculations
