What will ACC do without the Seattle Bowl?

Nobody liked this Bowl, but it was a 6th Bowl for the ACC. Will the league be able to pick up another Bowl tie in? Where?
With the BCS, Gator, Peach, Continental Tire(thank goodness this got created last yr), & Tangerine the ACC has 5 pretty decent Bowls. The problem is that last yr the conference had 7 eligible teams & 6 eligibles the yr before. The Tangerine's play date is awful, tho, & certainly should be changed.
I don't see any Bowls wanting to jump on the ACC, even tho the league deserves more than several others with as many or more Bowl tie-ins.

NCAA says 'nyet' to Seattle Bowl

Let's hope that a few others go under as well. Too many mediocre teams going to "bowls" and coaches getting bonuses off of taking them. Not the same as when Dodd ran his record when there were only a handfull. About the only thing you could say for the Seattle Bowl was it was better than - you guessed it - the Silicon Valley Bowl played at high school stadium. Time for all to wish it had never happened and move on.

I think the ACC brass is thinking about bigger fish right now. Between courting Miami, looking at the eventual end of the BCS system and should Miami bolt to the ACC then the end of the Big East as we know it - in several years there will probably be a total reshuffle of almost all of the bowls as we know em. The question for them is how to position themselves for part of the Citrus Bowl rather than worrying about loosing the Seattle Bowl.
