What will it take to even-up the U[sic]GA series?

Currently Georgia holds the lead 59-39-5 against us in the series (according to everyone but Georgia). Assuming CPJ goes 7-3 against them in the next 10 years that puts the series at 62-46-5 with us trailing by 16 games. What is it going to take for us to even the series and take the lead? We can't keep CPJ here for 30 years...

If we win 50%, it will take 40 years.

See, I can do higher math!

Actually, if we only win 50%, we would never catch up. They would always have a 20 game lead on us. Or am I missing some joke here?

Nobody cares who won 10 years ago. Just win the next 3 and we are the dominant team.

If we won 6 out of every 10 games then it would take 100 years.

If we won 7 out of every 10 games then it would take 50 years.

If we won 8 out of every 10 games then it would take 33 years.

If we won 9 out of every 10 games then it would take 25 years.

If we won 10 out of every 10 games then it would take 20 years.

Does that help?

I'm not looking for the math, I'm looking for how to actually get the wins to make it possible. We can't keep CPJ forever, so how do we keep making sure we have coaches with winning records against Georgia?

Either prove Richt and every subsequent coach at Georgia is a baby killer(would hurt recruiting) or tell them the wrong game time and location(they may be dumb enough to fall for it), causing them to forfeit 20 times in a row...

Live in the now, we are leading the series. If you live in the now, the only way to even it up is to tie.

Why don't we do what UGA does and just change the record? Nobody bothers to question them and how would anybody stop us.

You have two choices in life:
1) Let the bully bully you.
or
2) Kick back hard.

CPJ is 51. Joe Pa is 81. So assuming we can keep CPJ to the same ripe old age, he'd need to go 26-5 against the nadlickers to match them up. I'd like think that CPJ is so much better quality than any other HC coach out there, that this is within the realm of possibility.

But, it's not probable. CPJ has stated that he wants to retire young. Assuming this means the standard retirement age of 65, we'll need to start looking for an heir apparent in about 12-13 years. But by then, perhaps we'll have cut their lead in half. :fingersx:
