There are quite a few. The play where GW QB steped back and either gave the ball to the RB or kept it got yards on us all day. If we cant stop this next week were in big trouble. Also Josh Nesbitt hasnt played in almost a month and his pitches are going to be off and hes going to be out of sync. IF he plays. Jaybo Shaw will play though. Also they have a very very very good fast d line. Thats not good at all. I trust coach PJ to get them going though. Very big game!

We have played better, faster defenses already this year.

That's why it is imperative to have a QB that makes a good read on option to neutralize the DE. Calvin Booker starting would kill us this game.

Excatly. Have to have Nesbitt to win. I think.

I think we also need out o-line back. I dunno where they were yesterday.

Another thing is that our defense doesn't have any film to watch of Willy Korn. So far in all the games, our defense's weakest point was defending the scrambling QB (case in point, Tyrod) which I think is a bit ironic because I read a quote by either Vance or Michael that said Josh does the same thing in games and practice.

It's amazing how much our entire team relies on our QB.

1. The offense was bad this week because the DE committed to pitch and the tackles committed to dive ... there was no QB threat, which shut down our offense. Yes, there was some bad O-line blocking, but it wasn't all their fault.

2. The defense got worse as the game progressed because the defense relies on our offense to not go three and out. We had a winded defense that were not in their element as a result. I am not worried about our defense AT ALL.

The conclusion: WE NEED NESBITT OR JAYBO!! They are the brains/control center of our entire team. Without them, we are vulnerable.

This is what CPJ said...

“And I’m not going to put him in the game at 50 percent. We shouldn’t have to put him in the game. It wasn’t all the quarterback, trust me. Those five guys up front got their lunch handed to them pretty good, too.”

....our defense's weakest point was defending the scrambling QB (case in point, Tyrod)....

And, FWIW, we haven't really faced any formidable passing attacks yet either. G-W's second string quarterback had a lot of success against our secondary...
