Apparently Mark Richt thinks he's gonna have his convicts run up the score on us this season.



A reporter then asked if Richt would ever run up the score by keeping his first-teamers on the field late in a game he already had wrapped up just to impress the voters.
"I don't think so," Richt said. "If it's the 12th game of the year, maybe. But not before then."

Not to take anything away from the beat down I see coming to Free Shoes when we play them, but FSU is already in a world of pain.

Oh yea, and Mark Richt is an asshole.

Not only because of that, but on some radio show, Wes asked him what he thought about FSU running up the score on his alma mater earlier in the season. CPJ responded with "I'll have to remember that when we play them."
 
I hate Richt as much as the next guy, but I think he's talking more about jockeying for position with the voters to get into the MNC game than he is saying, "I want to stick it to Tech." But either way, it was a pretty stupid thing to say.

I was at that game....as much as I hate those SOB's, they didnt run up the score. We were unprepared and quit after the first quarter. Jonathan Smith played QB the second half for us. It was the worst GT performance I have ever witnessed. They could have scored 80 if they wanted to that day.

Worst sporting event that I have ever had to sit through live --and my buddy with the UGA season tix made me stay there with him until about halfway through the fourth. :mad:

It must have been payback for 1984 when the two of us, along with my best friend --and fellow GT fan-- sat in his uncle's club level seats. The two of us GT fans had our own little party; from Dewberry's first TD to the fans booing Vince the Prince for kicking a FG when it was 35-6. Ah --the memories :D.
