What\'s going to happen next year?...
Well, here's what I hope happens:
1) Hollings comes back at full speed and strength. I'm worried about this because often knee injuries take 2 years to completely heal and the player comes back after only 1 year to be less than 100% (e.g. Godsey 2001).
2) Ditto for Gathers.
3) We have a full-time QB coach.
4) The intensity level of spring practice and 2-a-days is WAAAAY UP. CG needs to make it rougher on the guys or else we'll continue having days where we simply don't show up to play. It happened with Donnan at UGA. It happened with us in 2002. It will continue to happen if the coaches don't make some changes in the motivation/intensity department.
5) Discipline is tighter. The stomping on the "G" prior to the game should never happen.
6) We have a great home schedule next year. As fans, we need to pack that place and give the opposition hell when they have the ball. Do you guys realize that we play Auburn, Clemson and UGA at home? That's an awesome home schedule when you factor in UNC, MD and NC STATE. I want to see a different team when we play Auburn vs. what I saw last Saturday.
