What's Nesbitt's fumble-per-play ratio currently?

Just curios how many snaps he's got, and how many he's fumbled. Seems high from my amateur perspective.

It could actually be a lot worse than Reggie's. That trend might not continue for his entire career (in fact I'd bet it won't), but right now it's alarming how much he fumbles. I'll just chalk it up to inexperience for now.

It could most definitely be a lot worse than Reggies. If you include fumbles that Tech has recovered, I think it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 fumble per 10 snaps.

Brooker was having trouble with the snap as well. Did we stick in the back up center on those drives?

None of Nesbitt's fumbles that I remember have be center -to-QB exchanges. He just fumles a lot. i think I've seen 3 but it may be more than that.

His second snap vs Clemson was a shotgun snap that he bobbled, fell on, and was promptly removed from the game.

We should run some sort of fake fumbled snap play with Nesbit. Who wouldn't bite on that?

Couldn't be worse than Reggie's.

I looked back through the Army play-by-play and saw that Nesbitt fumbled three times. Past his UGA fumble, I can't really recall Reggie being a fumble machine despite all his other faults.

Let me get this straight...

You brag about saying things that are offensive enough to get banned, then you put people on ignore who are offensive to you.

Sissy.

Allow me to correct you, just so you do indeed have it strait. I have never been banned for saying anything offensive, do not brag about saying offensive things, and ignore people who have nothing meaningful to say.

Reggie seemed to fumble at the worst times though.

That might be true, but it's a far cry from "Reggie's fumble to snap ratio was probably worse than Nesbitt's."

Out of curiosity, is there any place that you can see which players were in on each play (rather than who did what like in a box score)?

"Now banned from everywhere except Stingtalk"

Maybe you were just kidding.

Interrupting the thrilling questions of who BJ offends and who offends BJ and who is proud of which, I'd just say that a true freshman quarterback has a lot going on in his brain - play execution, defense reading, receiver patterns, pass rush patterns, and the identity of the jerk booing him from the upper deck - and it is all going on at a game speed much greater than he ever experienced in high school.

The question is whether JN is just dealing with the learning curve, or if there are reasons, such as tiny hands, that would cause him to always be a chronic fumbler.

Right now, I think JN will be fine and he's just adjusting, although the chicken littles would expect nothing less from me.

Well who bj offends is pretty easy to answer, but who offends him would be quite a story.

I think Josh is just in a hurry, especially in the shotgun and needs to let the game slow down some.

Granted, although I'd hazard to guess all of his fumbles so far have been on run plays, which take the receivers out of the equation.

I'm not harshing the guy, but I would like to see the number. It'd be a salient point to bring up in future "WHY AREN'T WE PLAYING NESBITT MORE?!!?!1" threads, which we all know are en-route.

Just one minor point. If that's really part of what's going through JN's head he's in the wrong place. And by that I don't mean Tech, I mean playing QB at the major college level. FWIW I don't think that has anything to do with anything. I doubt any of our players are that immature.
