What losers they need to be put down some more. Hopefully their fans won't piss on our players.

State has plenty of players, they simply aren't playing as a team. We need to focus, take care of business, get them down and the step on them. They won't quit, and they believe they can come back against anyone. This is a big game for us to show we're maturing as a team and a program.

Easy there, we don't quite have a right to have that much swagger yet. I do love our chances cause we've had NCSU's number for a LONG time and they just won last year on a few fluke plays, but they do have some big boys and their d-line is pretty good so I wonder how well we'll be able to get the passing game going, but I think we wll be able to establish the run pretty well, after you break past the d-line their defense doesn't impress me too much.

We can be snotty next year after we've got a recent Orange bowl appearance under our belts and we've set the record for most point scored agianst the mutts in their stadium

The NC State game is, quite simply,

the most important game of the year. We can't go 10-2 regular season if we don't win it. We can't sweep the NC teams we play if we don't win it. We can't raise our position in the BCS standings if we don't win it. It is a must win game!

This is no cake walk in my opinion. Our guys have to be just as prepared for NCST as they were for Scum.

I absolutely agree. This is going be a tuff game in their turf.

Yep, I remember how disgusted I felt leaving BDS after that one ...certainly was a long ride back home after that tough loss. I do want revenge.

Hang on...I ABSOLUTLY remember the game...but NCSU is not in our division...why are we even playing them this year? I thought we only played team out of the other division like maybe 2ce every 5 or so years...is this the last we will see of NCSU till 2011?? I know we have a game with ONE team out of our division EVERY year, but isent that team for us Clemson?? I'm confused. :confused:

Here's how it goes. We have 3 games every year against teams from the Atlantic Division. One of those is against our permanent rival and that is Clemson. What that means is that we play Clemson every year. The other two rotate. This year the other two are NCSU and Maryland.

So every year we play every team from the Coastal Division plus Clemson. The other two teams change every couple of years. Next year I think we get Maryland again in College Park and I'm not sure who else.

I'm not sure how exactly it works, but we always play three games against Atlantic teams. One is pretty much constant (I think), kind of a "rivalry" game, and that's why we always get Clemson. The other two are rotated and (again, I think) we get home-and-home.

Anyone more familiar with the schedule rotation, please comment. Guess you could go to ACC.com and maybe find the official "rules".

I believe 2008, Maryland rotates off for FSU. So at that point, we would have played twice with NCSU, Maryland, BC, and theoretically with Wake (played them last year). So for 2009, we would have the return game with FSU and would be back to Wake as the rolling opponent.

2006 NCSU, Maryland, Clemson
2007 Maryland, BC, Clemson
2008 BC, FSU, Clemson
2009 FSU, Wake, Clemson
2010 Wake, NCSU, Clemson ... it repeats the 2005-9 after this.
