Now that bagmen are out in the open and its lost both shock and surprise, I'm just curious, what's the going rate these days? Let's say we want to give Bama a run for the their money, how much to outbid them? I have no clue on this one.

Edit: I'm actually seriously interested in what these schools are paying these days? I don't think GT should do this (I still value their education as an *extremely* high benefit), but since we know the factories all do it, what are they paying? We know it's not free.

bagmen are for universities that have nothing else to offer

we don't need no stinkin' bagmen

Small bag of cash and a Black AmEx.

The Amie has nothing to do with race, white people basically own everything in this world that matters. Asia is catching up, though.

Have you not seen that three stripe locker room? Why would we need a Bag man when we have that?

From what I hear: New house for single mom, new car for recruit, a revolving debit card, and a boat load of cash under the table. This is from Auburn and Bama fans with close ties.

Is it illegal to be a bagman (other than in Georgia, which has that Gurley law)? Could the FBI start deposing top athletes to give up the names of their bagmen?

these are $2.99

Recruits get freaked out when you lock them in a safe room and talk about mechanical watches for two hours.

I was thinking the problem was that he was giving them old watches and telling them how much they’d be worth in 20 years.

It’s agaist NCAA rules. Whenever they catch someone, Tech gets another year of probation. Just look at the Cm Newton / Jamis Winston debacle a few years back. Millions riding on the NC game and the NCAA rides in and sits them both.
Right! Never will happen.

Right! Never will happen.

But it's not illegal?
