When does the contract with russel athlectics end? Are we gunna renew it or switch

to reebock or nike maybe. Any thoughts???? I would love to stick with old gold and white
 
The contract expires after this season. Word is that we will go w/Nike unless some of the powers that be can quash it. Unfortunately, some of the old farts simply do not like change and are skeptical of changing. The coaches and players would love Nike--many people don't realize that players want to "look cool" in a uniform and view Nike as a brand that does that.

Further, Nike would increase our prescence in retail areas and *gasp* could finally unify the ridiculous number of different shades of gold into one. Since we are trying to recruit on a Nat'l basis, it would certainly help to have the GT logo and apparel in stores across the country.

One thing is for certain though, and that is our colors--the white and gold will NOT change regardless of what is done w/the company providing the equipment.
