WTF?
This is getting old. The TE has burned us time and time again. I'm just sick of the TE being wide open. Somebody needs to cover that MFer.

Underused and uncovered for the last ___ years. I'm about to go to the "other side".

Multiple big gains in the UVA game and BC game. Nobody within 15 yards.

PATHETIC.

You would think at the least that after 6 straight losses to UGA in which their TE seemed to burn us multiple times we would have already learned by now. I have given up though that the adjustment will be made.

UVA had about 80% of their offense from two positions. Guess who? Peerman and the TE's. They have done this ever since Groh was in charge. Looks like we could stop two positions. Also their QB is so great he got subbed for several times. Yukkkk!

I thought the same thing as well...Uga has consistently thrown to their TE against us for years. Miami has had success. OTOH, we ignore that position offensively (as well as Fullback for the most part) to the point we don't seem to recruit it (see true freshman DE lined up at TE in critical late game situation). Is the issue that we don't see it in practice enough to prepare for it? Do our blitz packages make us more vulnerable to this play? Is Wheeler the only backer athletic enough to use in coverage but we committ him to the rush instead?I don't know but it has benn a source of frustration for a long time.

The TE is the hot read guy, who's more likely to be open when your LBs are rushing the QB. TEs are always going to catch the most balls vs us. It's part of the scheme.

Just wondering, which TE? You realize UVA uses 3 at a time, right? Not excusing the open receivers, but don't point to this game to prove anything...they have a screwy offensive package.
