Where could I golf before a game?

You cannot beat Candler Park. I think its $7 for 9 holes and thats really 18 if you want to keep playing unless its just slammed. Admittedly its not the most groomed course in the world, far from it, but if you can have a good round there you can have a good round anywhere.

Bobby Jones on Northside is 2 mi. from the stadium. Granted, not the best course, but it was only $12 the last time I was there.

Used to play here twice a week when i was in school. Decent course. Better than candler(9-hole course) although candler was bought by the same ownership group.

Should be around $30 for greens fees and a cart. It's decent but on the lower end of courses. Just depends on how you hit 'em and where.

Candler is about 2 miles east. As for cheapness, yes, its golf I don't need finely manured greens and fancy carts. My fat ass needs the walking anyways :) And besides, gsu_paintballer is in, or just got out, of college, and I'm guessing that doesnt mean he wants to drop $50-75 on a round, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'll go with him.

PM me an address and i will look for the coupon and mail it to you. dont worry, there wont be any white powder in the envelope

No, it wasn't. It's a management group - American Golf. The City still owns the courses. They just lease the management.

As for Candler, it is short with (4) Par 4's amd (5) Par 3's. Very easy to get around, though. The highest Greens Fee at Bobby Jones is only $39.25 (non-resident, weekends & holidays).

As for Reunion and Woodmont, they are great courses, but you might better check to see where they are before you get all excited about playing them. Seriously.

Instead of playing golf before the game you should be getting your drink on. Perhaps you can do both!
