Okay...VT just beat NC... what has to happen for us to be in the ACCCG? I know it's still early in the season, but it is on my mind.

VPI loses once and we win a 3-way tiebreaker somehow or they lose twice.

We can't lose another ACC game, basically.

Well, VPI needs a loss more than we end up with since they beat us on a head-to-head tiebreaker.

VT has defeated what is in all probability the two teams that they needed to in order to get a stronghold on the Coastal title --which is what they now have.

I'm now not focused on the Coastal division, I just want to focus on playing good football week after week. GT should be sitting at 5-1 going into Clemson, with FSU and UNC being the other tough conference games remaining on the schedule.

I'm not throwing in the towel on the Coastal, but I'm more focused on having a solid season. Eight or nine wins, which I think is a strong possibility for CPJ's inaugural season on the Flats, would be tremendous for this program.

Don't give up yet. VT still not looking real good on offense. They'll lose one or two ACC games this year. They'd have lost today if Yates hadn't got hurt. We just have to keep getting better and keep on winning. If we win the rest, losing a tie breaker, but beat the mutts, we'll be 11-1 and a BCS at-large or Gator Bowl team. If we lose to tha mutts, we're looking at the Gator Bowl.

They have to go to Miami, FSU and BC I believe. All very losable games. But in any case, we more or less have to win out. All we can do is focus on winning our own games.

BC and FSU are back to back shortly after Nebraska. I could easily see VT losing both of those games, but first thing is first, GT has to win our games or all else is moot.

They have Miami, FSU, Maryland, Duke, UVA, and Boston College. I think we are toast.

Yeah, but Miami, FSU, and Boston College are away for them. Miami isn't looking too bad this year and add take away homefield advantage... I donno....:fingersx:
