I was reading one of BOR's old threads from April and noticed pocket_watch replied on that thread --then I realized he has not posted this entire football season.

He has over 2,700 posts --but hasn't posted since 4/29 --last activity was 6/29. Anybody know what's up with p_w?

I wish I knew too. Pocket was one of my favourite posters on StinGTalk.

Hey GTUGA...Remember pocket packing a pistol when he walks his dogs?

Yeah --those were some funny posts.

neighbor: "Hey p_w, your dog is taking a dump in my yard!"
[p_w looks up, with cigar clinched between his teeth, ala Clint Eastwood, and slowly reaches into his coat pocket.
neighbor: "Uh, that's ok Mr. p_w --nevermind [runs into house and slams front door shut]

...something like that anyway --I looked for the post but it's long gone.

Don't mess with p_w --or his wife-- when they walk their dog through the neighborhood!

Found it!
Not too much, at least in terms of conventional weaponry. ;)
  • A little .32 semi that my wife carries while walking the dogs
  • My Pop's Colt long barrel .38 he carried as a Detective for Southern RR in the '20s. (He was a bad, bad man when he wasn't a southern gospel singer)
  • His bird gun, an old Remington 12 gauge

:wow: :wow:
Damn pocket, you are packin' when you walk your dogs? Now that is badass!!

Scenario when PW walks his dog in the neighborhood:

Neighbor: From his front porch, "Hey, get your dog out of my front yard!"

P-Watch: Looks down at his dog, a slim cigar clutched between his teeth (ala Clint Eastwood in 'A Fistful of Dollars') glances up towards his neighbor, reaches into his inner coat pocket...

Neighbor: Shaking where he stands, "Uh, that's ok Mr. PocketWatch, my yard needs the fertilizer anyway...goodnight", runs into his house and slams the front door shut. :biglaugha:

That would be Ms. PW. At 5'2 and low one something, she scares me to death! (Dyin's a helluva way of makin' a livin'.)
