I bet it only lasts one year. Look for us to get screwed against UGA at least once on this. :laugher:

I also noticed they didn't change the rule (about a punt returner muffing the ball on the 5 then falling on the ball in the endzone to receive it at the 20). This only hapenned against UGA 3 x's last year. I guess it will take an act of congress to change the ruling.

It is one of the very few judgement call penalties with the highest rate of accuracy. Either the guy's head turns or it doesn't. I wonder what the logic is behind the decision to change the rule?

We will always get screwed by rules, it's a law. As for the rule changes, the new out of bounds clock rules are retarded, and the NCAA is now openly catering to the networks.

I agree - the out of bounds rule is by far the worst. How can the clock only stop to set the ball? Terrible...
