Ok so we had a guy in our section who was very loud and yelled the most annoying stuff.

Before we had even run our first play from scrimmage he starts with “RUN THE BALLLL” And he repeats it over and over and over.

A few times he breakout the witty chant “COACHING MALFEASANCE” and probably repeated it a dozen times.

Later in the game he attempted to communicate his insights about play clock management “LET THE CLOCK RUN” and yes, he said it more than 10 times.

And finally, after witnessing a few line drive punts he came up with a solid strategy of “PUNT IT OUT OF BOUNDS” with the customary repetitiveness.

I was sitting fairly close to him and I had people turning around looking at me every time.

So, which one of you was this? As annoying as you were, you’d have to be a Stingtalker.

LoL had one guy near me say the same things about the play clock and punts. He was just talking though, not being extra obnoxious.

Coaching malfeasance :rotfl:

He was right on the letting the clock run. If we'd just run one snap down when up 20-6 the game doesn't go to OT. Someone said Key acknowledged that problem though in the post game.

What I don't get is if Key recognized we weren't running enough clock, why didn't he tell the damn QB

The worst I ever had was some old bitty and her husband behind me at the Kansas game. She kept saying loudly, in a gravely, cigarette tinged voice "WHY DON'T WE PASS THE BALL?" Bitch, we are over 500 yards rushing in the 3rd quarter. Pass the ööööing ball?

Anyway, fans need to have more self awareness. There were a couple of girls near us this game that were just the opposite. Really bringing it. Not being stupid

....

Definitely wasn't me

Too bad no one on the sidelines heard his advice on running the clock. Might have avoided OT.

He was pretty loud but I’m gonna guess that he would be pretty difficult to hear from Upper West. Even if it was the lower portion.

He was right about the play clock, just don't be annoying about it. Everyone doesn't need to hear your opinion loudly on repeat. Cheer the team. Discuss with your seatmates if they are wanting to talk about it.

Disagree. When the team is doing something obviously wrong and boneheaded, not just a matter of opinion, he was within his rights as a fan. It's not trashing the team

If we were down by 1 at the end of a game, and the game clock were running out, would you not yell "TAKE A TIMEOUT!!!!!" Or would you quietly and politely discuss amongst friends

yeah, @BarrelORum used to sit in my section too...

Did he yell BULLSHIT! over the ref's bad calls? If not, not true Tech fan. Was disappoint that you could not hear that chant on the TV broadcast.

LOL I’m sure he did. I just tried to block him out as he was miserable.

We got a really good REFS YOU SUCK chant going, and I was pleased to see that you could hear that very clearly on TV when I rewatched that last Duke drive with the penalties.
