I offer interested parties a trivia question:

Which school(s) had a winning in conference record against Tech while a member of the SEC?

Correct, BuzzCzar. Do you think that has anything to do with why they dislike us?

I'll leave it to you as to whether midatlantech's scholarship is restored.

i know Dodd refused to travel there. i am all for mat's scholly to be reinstated

Sorry, but I just remember that one. I would have guessed both Ole Miss and Miss State as having zero record against while in the SEC (other than bowl games). But we did go 2-0 against Ole Miss apparently.

Methinks we're playing MSU this year and Ole Miss in future years in order to get the SEC to vote for us one day?

No. I think we are trying to broaden our OOC schedule without having to play Furman, Troy, Jax, etc. and without having to play Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, etc., who don't have room on there schedules anyway.

We have Bama scheduled in '13 and '14. As well as Auburn and USCe way off in the future. MSU, OM, Vandy, and UGA in the near future.

Looks more like we're making a round through the SEC to me. Who knows if it's to try and get back in.

We also have Western Carolina, MTSU, and Tulane plus a few others...Close enough to Furman, Troy, and Jax..
