Anybody else catch halftime of Clemson/VT where they showed Charlie Weis at a ND press conference complaining about pollsters having the audacity to have a team leap-frog the Irish in the polls when said team had an off week and ND came back and won.

:crybaby:

Of course, there is $14-$17 million on the line with a ND BCS berth, so I suppose he has his reasons. But it's not like ND is the only team to have this happen to them, better be preparing for that potent Navy rushing attack.

I liked what Pete Carroll said the other day on The Cowherd.

He basically backslapped Charlie and advised him to shut up and just win.

That my friends will be a great ballgame and I predict now that USCWest will win by 3 touchdowns and Charles won't have to worry about the BCS.

I agree. They got jumped by two teams in the best conference in the nation. Both Florida and Tennessee both deserve to be ranked higher than ND.

Lou Holtz said it best, "90% of people don't care about your problems, the other 10% are glad you got them."

Darn true, shut up Charlie!

Very true. I was insulted when he said UF did nothing to leapfrog ND in the BCS, they have done plenty being in the SEC.

Not a big USC fan, but I like Pete Carroll. That's one guy I'd love to have coach my team.

Also, I don't agree with Lou Holtz on many things, but thats a great quote by him. I can see him saying that.

One of the few quotes/phrases I've never heard, but a GREAT one!

It was especially good that he mentioned how he campaigned heavily in the media, once, and it didn't do him any good..

..the instance he was referring to, of course, was him trying to share the NC with Colorado instead of us..
