Whisenhunt...next Falcons coach?

I wish the best for Ken. Why wouldn't he be the logical replacement for Cower?(?)

If Blank wants to continue his 4th quarter antics on the sideline, the Falcons will never have more than a junior coach wanting to get in the league.
 
You know, I'm kinda thinking that it's time for Mr. Blank to fix himself up a nice, cush owners box in the Dome and simply stay there from kickoff to final gun.

I'd like to have Ken Whisenhunt here, I actually want him at Tech IF a change is made in the next couple of years. But if Cowher is to step down, although I do not think he wants to retire, just wants more $$$, I can see KW taking over in Pittsburgh. He turned down the Raiders job last year, probably because he is smart, but perhaps also he may be waiting for the Steelers job.

I agree. I've never liked the fact that he is walking on the sideline practically every game.
 
Can't say I blame him. I wouldn't want the Raiders job right now either even with Art Shell's contract.
 
I would much rather Ken get a job with a good orginization. The Falcons have never been a stable team. First under the Smiths (Clampets for those who have lived in Atlanta for many years). And now with a hardware store owner, it is going to be even more fun to follow. Blank would have never opened store #2 if he fired people for not reaching their expected ability. I hope Ken gets a great HC job and a Super Bowl win.
 
Check out AJC on Thursday, very good article on Ken, I just hope he takes a better team to the Super Bowl.
