He's making $2.5 million/year as a first time HC in the NFL.

Unless he's a monstrous failure it's going to be hard to lure him away.

i love it when people make suggestions so detached from reality. Yeah, I'm with you, I think we really have a shot. Lets sh!t in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up first.
 
Why stop at Whisenhunt? Let's go after Parcells. He would have our team ready to play, that's for sure.
 
Actually, if I may.... and I must qualify this by saying I do not, in any way, want to see Gailey fail.... but I would like to see Petrino, if necessary. If he & Gailey both fail (again, I do not want to see this happen on either side), Petrino would be exciting. He has the spread offense and he will already live in Atlanta. Perfect.... except the fact that Gailey will somehow find a way to get us back to the ACCCG & beat ga this year, thus making all of us fat y happy.
 
Why bash Gailey when he is building us into a legitimate ACCCG contender EVERY YEAR. His recruiting is stepping up and I truly believe we will make a HUGE splash in 09'/ STOP BASHING.
 
Petrino is not going to coach anywhere with recruiting restrictions.

Neither are lots of other coaches, for that matter.

If you replaced "09" with "07", "06", and "05", you would be reading the same thing we have said the past three years.

And care to elaborate on why you think it will be 2009(isn't his contract up by then?) when he makes a splash?
