I have been going to GT games more years than I can remember. Been bored to tears time after time with "polite" fans and there low-key approach to cheering (applauding, using a culturally and politically correct style). The time is upon us now where we need to show passion and enthusiasm in our support for the team.

They are passionate about this new era. Are we?

They deserve better than the same ole same ole! Man, let's get fired up for Thursday's game with Clemson. Our team deserves that! Every fan bring a white towel. They should be easy to find and inexpensive. Let's add movement to the noise and white sea. I'm tired of the orange out showing and out yelling us! Are you?

This is a huge opportunity for the GT family to put it's best cleat forward and move to the next level (tier 1). Man, lets spread the word! CPJ and Tech football is worth our total and fanatical support!!!

god im glad the game is at home this year so i don't have to hear that stupid "roar" and the c-l-e-m-s-u-c-k chant (at least not as loud and hopefully not at all if we play well)
 
I will be there in a white shirt, white hat and a white towel. To do anything less is unChristian.
 
I love it when redneck schools spell the school in a chant. I'm sure at Clemson, that's worth a 4 credit hour course. At UGA, it's enough for a doctorate.

Good post DJ, I think that the fans have to step up if they want our team to step up. We have to cheer our butts off and represent if we want any respect.

The clemson one makes me laugh, because of the unnecessarily long pause between o and n...always makes me think the fans forgot the last letter and had to think about it for a minute.

I must've been sitting in the deaf and mute section of the stadium on Saturday. My fan mates were way too quiet. It was kinda creepy to be honest.

DJ, You're the MAN! I'm gonna be there screaming till I can't talk and the Clempson fans will fear Section 203. GT Nation, CPJ and Co. are gonna lay'em on the sod at Bobby Dodd!

I'll see if I can rally Swarm to be just a bit louder than the normal Thursday nighter. I would LOVE to have the (SEC loving) ESPN analysts go "Wow, what an atmosphere".

The atmosphere at Doak when they did the Chop was pretty unreal last night. Towels do give a similar vibe (basically anything with hands). Also, I'm convinced that Tech also needs crowd pushups after scores. They do this at a lot of Big Ten schools, but that doesn't mean it isn't cool when you have tons of students doing it (LINK). Guys do them face down, girls are on their backs (for obvious reasons).
