Who coaches the bowl game?

PJ will, I assume, bring in a wholly new offensive system, one that we aren't prepared to run in Boise on the 31st. So who coaches the bowl game? Tenuta and Bond? Does CPJ hit the recruiting trail and not take over till the spring? For that matter, does he coach Navy at the Poinsettia Bowl?

Tenuta is the coach unless he leaves. If he does, I would think that PJ would go with the team but that Bond would run the offense and Giff or someone the defense.
 
Tenuta is coaching the bowl game. PJ will start recruiting immediately. Then give JT the option to stay on staff if he wants.
 
Per Wes at 1pm, GT's agreement with JT was to coach the bowl game. He did leave open the door a bit.

Also, on 790 they announced that Navy had made a public announcement that PJ was gone and would not be coaching their bowl, what next week?

Seconded. I would imagine that the bulk of it rests on Tenuta, if he wants to remain, and if he does weighing that against the offers he's sure to receive soon.

PJ forcing out a popular DC like Tenuta would be a good way to squander some of the goodwill the Tech fanbase has right now for him. I bet it's all in Jon's hands now.

I guess we will have to see what PJ says about assistants. It would be nice to see the combo of PJ and JT I think but that may be a longshot. I really expect that JT may end up at LSU but it would be some nice icing on the cake if somehow we ended up with both PJ and JT. If that happens, I may just have to go out and buy a lotto ticket to push my luck even further. We can dream, can't we?!?:fingersx:
