1) They're the bigger name. We have one more big national stage to try and beat a big name school that is going to get a lot more recognition than South Carolina.
I'm fine with whoever. I'm least pleased with Ole Miss, though, because public perception of the middle of the pack SEC teams is all the same, and I think Ole Miss is better coached. I think we make a lot more hay from crushing LSU or SC than a close win vs Ole Miss.
They are more of a regional opponent. They're Southern...not Cajun-Southern....BIG DIFFERENCE.
Also, I think it would look cooler on TV having two opposite colors in the stands...I know, stupid thought of the day but if we play LSU again, our colors are generally the same and the viewers won't be able to differentiate on the tube.
But the "coolest" thing to witness, will be Paul Johnson and Steve Spurrier roaming the sidelines vs one another in the dome. I would liken it to a "passing the torch" kinda moment. One man's domination over UGA is passed on to our guy.
Beating the Chickens of SC would be nice, Steve will not be coaching much longer. The Dawgs would love it if we beat the Chickens. Not sure how they would travel to Atlanta, (no I-20 comments).
LSU would be a good game, Cajun food, fights, good food. Possible to have a bigger crowd from LSU.
LSU, because I have tons of friends who go there and I am from New Orleans, so it gives me bragging rights if we win. It's so fun to piss off LSU fans because they are so fair-weathered. I remember going to a Tulane-LSU game when I was really young and Tulane was beating LSU really bad so half the stadium just left. Not to mention, they boo their own players. My friend went to the Troy game and he told me that half the stadium left after the first half ... hahaha.
