Thoughts...
Us? VT? UNC? Probably not UVa, considering their 5-5 overall. I know we all thing the ACC likes to screw with us (and their is some truth in that) but in terms of offering the best team we have in the division, if Swoffard could make the next two weeks work like he wants, who would he send to Tampa?
 
ESPN said we were the best team in the ACC last night. The North Carolina Conference Refs stole the VPI game from us late; maybe they could give it back now.

Swofford will want UNC v FSU and that is what's going to happen likely.

Virginia Tech or Miami for sure.
 
I think the more appropriate question would be...

"Which ACC has the highest probability of winning the Orange Bowl for the first time this millennium?"

I honestly believe the answer is us, and if we beat ugay next week Swofford needs to screw the rules and send us to the OB no matter who plays and wins in Tampa :D
 
Let's Review:

1. VT has the worst offense in the ACC and one of the worst offense's in the country. So....if they make it to the CG it will be an utter embarrassment for the ACC, if they played anyone out of conference again...they would lose handily.

2. UNC- I think has a good chance to go....but from their showing last weekend, I question but you could easily question GT's showing against them. They MUST lose this weekend.

3. GT- has one of the top if not the top defense in the ACC, top ten rushing offense in the country. Have been one of the only ACC to blow opponents out, or shut them out. Flat out probably the best on BOTH sides of the ball in the ACC. I think GT would be the best team to win OOC in the Orange bowl for the same reason as every other game this year, the other team will not, or have trouble, stopping the option.

These tie breakers suck, but all we can do is watch and hope. I really, really hope VT does not go though, if any team in the entire of college football does not deserve to go to a title game, it is that team. One of the worst offenses, and one of the worst special (Beamer ball) teams in the nation....It would, again, be flat out embarrassing to see them there.
 
Boy do I agree. But guess what? It is very likely that VPI is going.

And the ACC is going to look bad once again.
 
If we were really that stellar we would have beaten VT, UVA and UNC... and we would have beaten FSU by 14 instead of on a miracle play.

Still, if we played VT this late in the season, we win.
 
Is this a trick question??

Uh, how about the team that well generate the most revenue.
