Both teams are helped because they have a chance to get some players back healthy who have been injured, but I think it helps Tech more.

I think the off week will allow the coaching staff to work on some different things to try and pull a few surprises. Also, the Tech players get to listen to how great this ugag team is and that they don't have a chance to win this game. We'll truly get to see what kind of motivator Gailey is.

The mutts on the other hand are going to look past this game to the dome. Plus, they too get to listen to how great they are and all the other blah blah blah in the press.

I look to Tech to come out sharp and to jump out to a quick lead while the mutts struggle to get into a rhythm. The question will be if Tech can sustain it for 4 quarters and survive the ugag momentum push that will surley come at some point in the game. Should be a good one!

GO JACKETS!!

Win or lose, we drink the booze!

According to BB on 680 yesterday, the mutts are practicing hard for this one. He was also critical of Tech's decision to go with limited practices and light workouts. RC countered that by this time of the year the players knew their assignments and wouldn't have any problem getting up for the game.

I suspect we will use the extra week to plan a few surprises for the mutts and should go into the game healthier than we did for NCS.

We ruined NCS's season, here's to ruining UGA's

Do you guys think there is any value in the "not having anything to loose" mindset? Because certainly GT has nothing to loose, and uga has everything to loose next week.

I'll be there, I'll show up early, I'll wear my white and gold, I'll drink my whiskey, and I'll loose my voice cheering on the brave and bold. And I hope to drive home with some hedge!

Go Jackets!

Since I don't know how your red cross report is looking I can't say for certain, but I can tell you the off week is great for us. We have a ton of players that are banged up. Injuries an off week can help. It is also giving Terrence Edwards an extra week to heel his shoulder. As of today it looks like he will play against Tech.

The off week helps UGA more. They've played 10 weeks in a row and are beaten up and tired. There's no way they'd be able to get up for us after the Auburn game if they had to play this Saturday. The off-week gives them a chance to rest and then re-focus.

I'd feel better about our chances if it was this weekend. But even given that it's next weekend, I think we'll be OK and play well.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">The extra time is really going to help both teams to get more healthy. No question about it! At this time in the season there are always a lot of banged up guys. Some are known by media. Some are not. I think Edwards coming back for you guys will be a boost. Dorsey being back for us is really going to help the Jackets. I'm excited about Curry having the extra time as well. Not many have talked about him. He was showing signs of getting back in the flow of the offense after being out for over a year. Then he got dinged up again. The extra time in practice will be good for him and Suggs IMO. Wallace having the extra time to heal is big as well. He's a two time player of the week on OL in ACC. He's played well this season. Doesn't get the pub from fans that others get, but he's been a super player.

Well...Im not gonna be any diffrent then the above posts. I think this week off will help BOTH teams. Maybe since GT isent practiceing as much, they should try to get some UGAg/Fla film, and lets try to repeat what UF did aginst the puppies.
I will be there as well, in my Blue, white, gold(some tech color)just depends on what I decide to wear that day. Look for my:

Can't
Beat
Suggs

Hey Junky,

Thats great news about Terrance being back....if we can't beat the dawgs, Terrance sure can!

The hedge I take home next Saturday will look great on my mantle next to my piece of goalpost from '99, my piece of hedge from '98, and my copy of the "Who Let the Dogs Out?" CD from '00.

I just checked weather.com....its going to be a beautiful day for an upset!

Go Jackets!

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">The ol king of the puppy nation, BB, on 680 is on cloud 10 because cloud 9 can't hold him. That's his usual spin talk on the radio to make his mutts sounds glorious and give a dig at GT. He's really unreal when his group is doing well.

Basicly, BB, doesn't know what he's talking about and probably doesn't care too. He's just trying to make a radio show go.

The king doesn't have a clue what's going on at GT practices. Yes, they make it sound like they do from reading this or that. BLAH.

Not that you didn't know this already. Just felt the need to put it in writing.

ALL HAIL TO THE KING OF THE MUTT NATION, Bucky Buck!
