Who do you think actually gets it (not necessarily who you would put in) and why

I'm actually starting to think that Ohio State will get in, directly in contradiction to the justification they used to get in last year.

I'd be pissed if it wasn't Bama that was getting left out though, because it was total bullshit when Bama won the MNC before after not winning their conference.

One big difference between Ohio State last year and Alabama this year is that Ohio State had big wins over Oklahoma and Michigan. Bama's "big" wins are Mississippi State and LSU.

I think Ohio State will just barely beat out Bama. I'd rather see Bama get in just to add another team that could beat the dwags, though it would set a bad precedent to have a team with such a weak resume get in simply due to the eye test.

It’s about quality wins, not “quality” losses. Bama doesn’t have any. Last year when OSU made it in they had beaten 3 top 10 teams or so. Bama best win is LSU at 15 who lost to Troy.

I would put in USCw but I think the committee will go tOSU

Alabama, IMO. 1 or 2 all year til the Auburn game. 1 fairly close loss, no blowouts, no head scratchers.

Ohio State will go or the whole thing is a sham

If USC had one loss, we'd really have a controversy.

We may be looking at this question naively, solely in terms of football qualifications. The deciding question may well be: Which #1 vs. #4 match-up would make the most money?

An Alabama - Clemson rematch would probably be big TV numbers

I think it’ll be Bama.

If I’m Clemson, I’d be pissed and would start hoping the committee does me a solid and have OU jump me. I doubt that happens causes they straight up clowned Miami and look amazing down the stretch.

So after last year and this year, conference championship games mean little.

New world, new rules. Feels weird but it is what it is.

Yeah, pretty crazy that Bama losing last week basically just gave them an extra week of rest :lol2:
