Who is going to Clemson?

Me, the wife, and four others are going up Friday night for shenanigans and revelry.

Is anyone else going? We should meet up for a cornhole tournament and good times.
 
I would love to go, but alas, will be unable. I am, however, compelled to ask a simple albeit potentially person question...

What in the world is a cornhole tournament. I am only familiar with one definition of "cornhole", and I suspect (read "hope") that a cornhole tournament has nothing to do with the definition that I am familiar with.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...
 
I'll be there with five of my friends, and my dad is going and taking three of his.

I had the same reaction about a year ago, but cornhole is a game where a "bean bag" filled with corn is tossed into a hole, usually cut into a wooden board. its horse shoes without the danger of hitting someone in the head with a piece of iron.

below you see the wooden board and the bags of corn. since you are tossing corn into a hole, it is "corn hole" an unfortunate name that people seem to enjoy...

I will be there with a group of 10 buddies that are leaving early that morning. We plan to get there hopefully no later than 9 for a few hours of tailgating. I have no idea where we'll end up.

In 2006, we ended up in some botanical gardens parking lot that was about 1.5 miles from the stadium. It was a nice atmosphere with bathrooms but the walk back to the car after that game was awful.
 
I will be there with a group of 150+(not a typo).

Leaving in 3 buses(and 12 kegs) at 6am sharp.

Let's bust some CU butt.

Haha, I guess how that can be pretty confusing.

Of course, we play with our home made elaborately decorated GT cornhole boards complete with white and gold bean bags.

What is really funny is when you score a cornhole, you have to yell "CORNHOLE!!!" which gets you some pretty awkward looks.





Now, Who is in for a tourny?????????

I'll be there with my dad and 2 other GT alumni. We'll be in Lot 13 (rugby field) IPTAY lot.

The time I heard "Lets Play Cornhole!", I thought to myself, "I need to get the heck as far away from these folks as possible." Then they busted out the game and hence, my worries at that moment were quashed. I never explained to the group what my interpretation of the word meant.

I am flying in from California Thursday to go to Clemson on Saturday. My first GT game since I graduated 2 years ago, pretty excited.

The buzz around this game is getting pretty big...could be a huge fan turnout for us. Let's make their stadium look like ours when they come down!
 
I'll be there with 2 other Tech grads and two of our dads. Can't wait.

I don't know where we'll be, but it'd be cool to meet up with some folks.

If Bowden was still there, I would think that we had a decent shot at this. However, with the coaching change, there will be a renewed sense of optimism (at least until we crush their spirits with a win), and all the displeased fans will flock back to the stadium. I expect that place to be rockin'. CPJ needs to get the troops focused and executing with as much precision as possible.
