Are any of our defenisve assisstants in the box with him during the games?

My point is, we cannot expect Tenuta to be at GT much longer. I know, I know... blasphemy!! But in all seriousness, its the truth.

Do we promote inside? Or go outside? I'm a big fan of promoting within and hiring assistants to come up within the ranks. Does Giff Smith become our DC? And then who do we allow to become our recruiting coord? If we lose Tenuta, I think its imperative that we keep Smith.

Not sure if Giff is ready to be a DC yet...but he is such a strong recruiter someone else will make him one just for that reason if we did not let him replace Tenuta.

To answer part B is easy. If Giff because DC, Geoff Collins would get on the field somewhere as a coach and would be the Recruiting Coordinator.

Nate Burton is...grad asst. Giff, BJ are on the sidelines coaching and signalling in plays.

correct...Nate would likely step into Geoff Collins role.

So, is this the reason that Tenuta gave-in and did the recent press interview? He's always exhibited a phobia of the press tendency. Is he trying to Pavlonian pre-condition himself to do the required PR a HC has to do?

The impression I always got was that if Tenuta went anywhere, it'd be for a DC job in the NFL.
