Someone must burn for this.

I think it is Sewak's time to shine. I feel like he escaped last year with an in game coach with Shaq. We are back to having no clue on the OL.

No one. CPJ just needs to pull his head from his ass on 4th and short calls and end of half/game playcalling.

Yea, but those are kinda big times to have your head inserted in your ass.

Agreed... but can't fire a coach who just took you to Orange Bowl victory.

This year is done for, but I still think CPJ gives us the best chance to be relevant in CFB. Roof... not great and I'm tired of the lack of defensive plays, but we did lose our best defensive player and DL presence to a weak penalty call. Maybe things turn out different and the D looks better if our DL gets some pressure. It sucks we are so thin, but it is what it is. Just gotta get better each weak and take our lumps.

I'm with this guy. The OL is identical minus Shaq to last year and oh ho HOOOOOOOOOOO is there a crapload of whiff, bellyflop, jogging to the backside of the play behind your assignments, double teaming the same guy, and light sneeze ankle blocking.

This may be the worst blocking team in the country if not the ACC. I mean it is *BAD* out there folks. And the A-Backs and B-Backs are no better than the OL, and half way through the season I'm not entirely comfortable with the youth excuse there either.

It has taken AB usually 2-3 seasons to see the field in the past. Even Laskey was a blocking liability his first few seasons at BB. Blocking in space is the reason. 8 weeks of practice is not enough time to think they'll be proficient at the level we need. This was entirely predictable. The OL problems not so much.

I'm not calling for him to get fired...I'm just l really disappointed in how this team has played, and how bad our coaching has been. Nobody needs to be fired...yet, but we do need to recognize that these 4th and shorts and half time decisions are hurting the team right now.

I'd be ok with letting an OL coach go so we can get a full time special teams coord. The ST has been too bad to ignore. We can't have rychelski spend all of his time with OL and expect the ST to take care of itself. I've complained about sewak too much to really want to keep him. Last year... I don't know how it happened, but it seems like OL has been an achilles heel most years.

I agree with ya. I thought the 'hurry up' playcalling was a nice adjustment and helped us early to get a better read on the defense. That was a great adjustment. Just gotta work to figure out the rest. I hated the playcalling at end of 1st half, but CPJs aggressiveness is also why we like him. If he hits that seem pass that was open, we were in business for another score. We didn't get it and ran a QB draw for a loss. Then we ran a play to burn clock and make them use last TO. I get the playcalling and if it worked on 1st down, we love it. It didn't so we all question it. Hindsight is 20/20, even mine. If we got 5 on the QB draw and had 3rd and 5, I'm sure we do something different to try to move the sticks, but D was playing well at that point and no need to make a mistake on 3rd and 13. Had we gotten a good punt off, maybe the have to go 75 yds instead of 50.

tldr; Playcalling consistent with CPJs MO. When it works, we like it, when it doesn't we call him retarded.

Absolutely horrible play calling on the goal line. No way you can do that twice in a row. One bright spot was Mikel Lands Davis. Is there not a way to challenge a call? That pass that was ruled a lateral was definetly forward. Caused us to lose valuable time and got us no yards. Jejune's drop and JT missing Lynch cutting across were huge too. We are not deep enough on DL and again poor tackling, not wrapping up a culprit again. Horrible loss.
