Wave your magical wand!

Who do you think would be a fitting replacement for Gailey?

State your reasons-

Paul Johnson.

He gets the most out of the players he has. He uses the type of offense that fits his personnel. For example, at Navy with slower smaller players he uses the triple option, but can adjust his offense to whatever type of players he has. He has connections with Georgia high school coaches from having coached (successfully) at Georgia Southern. Knows how to balance football with strong academics (at Navy). He's strong on discipline and makes great in game adjustments.

Bunger out.

Paul Johnson! Think of what he could do with Dwyer and Nesbitt.

just for ****s and giggles......
how about Chuck Amato he's a great recruiter:wow:

or

Jim Donnan he may relish another chance at coaching and he had a good winning % and would probably like to stick it to Mutt Nation:laugher:

but seriously Chris Hatcher and Paul Johnson should both be high on the list

June Jones .......smokes weed and can't dress
Whis................ never coming to CF
Johnson........... Dicipline minded?? OK so we'll graduate a few. Look what that discipline is doing for NCSU w/ O'brien. 21 turnovers in 5 games. 2 games were vs Div 1 teams. oooooraaa

Anyone who doesn't run the ball up the middle on the 3rd and 20 with the back-up running back!

But seriously, Paul Johnson does look appealing. The only thing I'm worried about is recruiting when CCG gets fired.

Are you serious? My God, we would have endless scandals if Terry was our coach. Remember his fooling around with the Auburn coeds?

I hope you are just joking.

Spurrier would make the jump for the right cash don't you doubt it.

Norm Chow. Names.

Larry Coker is an intriguing name. He's a stand up guy who cleaned up a lot of the "trash" in Miami, and only won about 80% of his games...

As long as it is a "Tech man" like

Dodd - oh wait he went to an SEC school.

Like Ross - oh no.

Like Cremins - Darn he did not go to Tech either

I always love this argument.

As soon as I have D-Rad's title and salary I'll start putting together a search committee.

Paul Johnson is probably my personal favorite out of current HC's.

There are a host of NCAA and NFL coordinators out there looking for jobs as well.

I would say let's put Chan on the bench now. Let him stand on the sidelines and stay out of the way and let's see what our coordinators can do with their units with full autonomy. The goal of each is to do the best they can do.

I have had this theory for a while. Why does a team need a head coach anyway? Most of the time we are asking for the HC to let the coordinators do their jobs and get out of the way. Let's just make the O and D coordinators Co-head coaches and see how the experiment works. Then reevaluate at the end of the season.
