Unless it is buried somewhere and I am not seeing it...the site does not list the name of the person sponsoring it, nor any way to contact the person sponsoring...even by email.

Anyone who launches a direct attack on someone and does not have the courage to say who it is coming from is a coward.

This site would be something typical of a UGA fan...and is an embarrassment to GEORGIA TECH..THE INSTITUTION.

Since I suppose I have attacked this nameless wonder...he/she can contact me at ggoodroe@hotmail.com if they have a problem with it.

It's not even a web site. There is no way to contact anyone much less find out who they are. Gutless, gutless, gutless. I certainly hope it isn't a Tech man, I always thought we had more stones than to hide behind crap like this.

Beeski did all the legwork for you but I don't want to post people's names and phone numbers here, EVEN if its readily available public information.

If you want the domain registration info:

1. http://www.nic.com/nic_info/whois.htm

2. enter the domain name.

it will tell you everything you want to know.

Should be "WHOEVER launched . . . ." Sorry. Since 'whoever' is the one who did the launching, the pronoun should be in subjective case. WHOMEVER is used when it is a direct or indirect object OR the object of the preposition.

As we all know, opinions are like iceholes. I just read the site attacked above (firechangailey.com) and noticed that it merely contains the site's founder's opinions. They are opinions shared by many if not most Tech fans I have taked with about this. I myself am still in the mode to wait-and-see-cautiously-optimistically.

To those of you unwilling to CELEBRATE the "coward's" freedom to speak HIS mind on HIS site, I say go get a life. And what the helle kind of Americans are you to condemn him for expressing his opinions just because they violate YOUR freakin' points of view?

I hear Siberia is nice this time of year. Maybe y'all would like it THERE.

Must not bee a Techie. Anybody here at least would have been original. UF has had theirs since forever. This is a mindless copycat. AT least be original!

Childish. Just childish.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, or so the saying goes. I'm personally all for "freedom of speech" and all that being able to call a spade a spade or however you see it, for all. These people have decided to do something very ill advised and juvenile by trying to roast the HC of our football team at this critical juncture.

I've been studying (stewing) over this dilemna and am starting to believe that not only does this team and administration not need to be criticized but right now they, more than another team in recent menory, need our support. These people, coaches and athletes alike, are competitors, not pantywastes in our opinion, and want to win. They ARE struggling but this struggle could have easily been predicted and they could be a step or two away from collecting themselves.

Putting up web addresses like this don't serve any useful purpose and only serve to generate hysteria and mollify the puny, childish egos of the authors.

This team, the one that just lost, the one that plays Virginia next week and may have to march into Athens with the dawggies undefeated and heavy underdogs (God forbid) needs our support now more than ever. These guys ARE NOT quitters they are the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and we should never forsake them no matter how severe the struggle.

I say God bless Chan Gailey for coming to TECH. I don't believe for one moment that he's some kind of a fairy tale idiot that just wants to retire in Atlanta and doesn't give a damn or doesn't know how to coach football. And God bless our team that I'm sure is as frustrated as we are.

TO RECKBERT:

You did not read my post well enough. I am not so much upset that he/she gave his/her opinion...I just believe if someone is going to make public such a direct and bold opinion that they should have the guts to be able to say who they are and how to contact them.

I also believe putting out a website on the subject is quite juvenile. There are plenty of other ways to give your opinion...phone, mail, email, etc. Of course, he/she would probably just sign it anonymous.

I wonder if he knows its a crime to give false information to the domain registrar? Look at the phone numbers.. oops.. BUSTED.

Why would anyone bother to see if that's a registered domain name in the first place? It's sort of like catching someone sneaking out of office early...in the parking lot. Oops.

Looks like a temporary "I had time so I threw this up" deal to me. I think there's more looming on the horizon.

Though I personally disagree with the message being pushed, it's his money... let the "gutless" one as some like to refer to him give his two cents.

I can't say giving him a verbal assault is any more product than the actual website. Plus he gets a fringe benefit.... attention and more traffic!

Plus, as I have witnessed on the Communist Manifesto board (you know which one I'm talking about) more times than I care to cite, a "Holier Than Thou" war does nothing more than disgrace everybody involved.

A little bit of tolerance goes a long way... and if he doesn't get attention, controversy, and traffic... he'll go away.

It's like Eminem... controversy = attention (traffic) = success

Repeat the process endlessly, or if you're Eminem... until insanely wealthy.

According to gtalumni.org, the owner of the site is a graduate of GT, MGT-1992. In case anyone was wondering.

I agree with you Swagger. I don't like his methods
and the anonimity but I will defend his right to do what he is doing and to say what is on his mind. Does this hurt Tech? no I don't think so. Most will see it for what it is. But I do feel that many Tech faithful would like to see Chan go.

The question is this:

Who is doing real harm to TECH.... the firechangailey.com website or this inept bunch of coaches we have that are 'led' by Chan Gailey and hired by Dave Braine???

I don't the think the firechangailey.com website is doing anything but pointing out the obvious by someone that apparently loves TECH football and like many of us doesn't want to see it run into the ground.

beeware, you amaze me. But I don't disagree with what you said, you can certainly sum things up. Very interesting.
