The Yellow Jackets sped past the Hurricanes for the 2nd straight time @ the Orange Bowl giving the Jackets 3 consecutive Ws over the Canes. Only 4 teams have outplayed Miami for 3 gms in a row since 1978; Notre Dame, Florida State, Virginia Tech & Georgia Tech. Florida St & Va Tech did it from '95-'99 while the U was on & recovering from a very debilitating probation by the NCAA.
Now that GT has moved into such an elite catagory ya just gotta know that Mia will be seriously looking for revenge in 2008 in Atl.

I never noticed it when I lived in Miami for a year, but those Miami fans put the U in obnoxioUs. The worst people ever. They made the first half of the game at home last year intolerable, but then again that just made their early departure all the more enjoyable in the fourth quarter.
 
Looking forward to next year....anyone know the last team to beat scUM 4 times in a row?

FSU and VT actually both defeated UM 5 times in a row from '95 - '99 --FSU defeating them pretty soundly I might add:

YR .......FSU...............VT..
'99: .... 31-21 .......... 43-10
'98: .... 26-14 .......... 27-20
'97: .... 47- 0 ........... 27-25
'96: .... 34-16 .......... 21- 7
'95: .... 41-17 .......... 13- 7
