The easy answer is that teams in the current rankings are based off of current results. BC beat FSU in thier last game and we lost our last game to UNC.

We didn't get beat any worse by UNC than BC did. The UVA loss was bad, but nobody has beaten VT in Blacksburg.

With that said, I don't really have any problem with them being ranked and us not. We just need to win the games and it won't matter.

What does that make the team that lost to the team that lost to those guys? Not to mention a bad, by any sense of the word, Clemson team.

Anyway, I wouldn't get too hung up over ratings. It's asking a lot for pollster to consider the head-to-head of the top 25 with the rest of the top 25. It's much easier to go on general inertia of who wins and loses week-to-week, which explains anomalies like VT having a higher ranking than LSU.

By the way, how the hell was Troy beating LSU 31-3 last night? I thought our Gardner-Webb game was beyond explanation.
