Just curious. Seems like something that would have been done on some other bulletin board.
 
I closed it b/c it looked like it was just infighting and bad language but after taking a closer look I probably should not have closed it, so I have opened it.

I do want everyone to tone down the language b/c we have young GT fans and it is not fair to them.
 
I really don't understand the thing on profanity...kids assume that risk when they get on the net.

If they were so sensitive to such things, their parents should not allow them to log on.

But it's your board and I won't argue any further.
 
There's no need for a four letter word in the title of a thread. If it comes up once in a while in conversation, okay...but you should be able to get the subject of your thread across without resorting to cursing. In my humble opinion, of course.
 
the fbomb reference was why I locked it. That is uncalled for.

And if you don't understand the importance of having young GT fans then I think you miss the point of college sports.
 
TechGator, No offense but you do put some profanity laden posts out there. I don't mind it so much as well because I have been known to throw a few words around as well. We do have young ones reading this board though. I think the mods are the best by far and away and they let a lot slip by. Hey maybe that's a resolution for you this year lol
 
Please remember that we do not allow the words ****, ******, ****, or ****. We do allow the word ***** if it is used as an adjective but not as a verb or in conjuction with the word *****. However, if ***** is used in a compound sentence that includes the words UGA and/or Athens, then of course this is perfectly acceptable.

As always, the words **** and ****** are welcomed and even encouraged.
