It's becoming apparent that the selectively dig for dirt.

Huh?

Because the truth is already out there. Everyone already knows what happened and how Auburn operates. Its a non story.

knowing (wink, wink) and knowing are two different things. I want the facts.

Why isn't the NCAA digging for the truth at Alabama? A wife of an Auburn coach calling them out for cheating on the radio?

Regarding ESPN, the fix is in. The SEC is ESPN's new partner and they just aren't going to attack them very often.

Get used to it. Soon, the ACC is going to need a new business partner.

They cheated on the radio? With who, the DVD player? Heard the radio has a good divorce attorney. ...

As to those nasty PJ-Auburn rumors, had a couple of season ticket holders burning my ears about it today. Auburn would be foolish not to want to talk to PJ, but he's not the kind of guy to pull up stakes after a year on the job - and he's had his eye on Tech for a long, long time. He knows he can win here. He has money. He wants championships. He eats them like candy.

Alabama has a loooong history of "cheating" (known by scouts, recruiters, etc.)--but how many NCAA violations??--it's called CLOUT--the BEAR was notorious for "shady" operations!!

Hello all. I've been coming to Sting Talk for a while and enjoy all of the info. I have never joined because I didn't have any useful input add, but now I do.

I'm surprised that no one is pointing to the source of all of the issues with Auburn. Bobby Lowder runs the show at Auburn. He is the reason that Tuberville is gone. He tried to get rid of him in 2003/2004. It should have been obvious that it was only a matter of time before Tuberville was gone because Lowder is someone who won't stop until he gets what he wants.

His control over Auburn is so far reaching that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the regional accrediting agency, placed them on probation because of Lowder.

Here's a good article from ESPN written back in January 2006.

^^^^^ Rumor? No source? Was the ESPN article not good enough for you?

I stole it from the Auburn scout forums. They've got two dozen rumors going on at any given time and never any sources.

In addition to Lowder, the "Yella Fella" of Osmose wood fame had a lot to do w/Tuberville's ouster.

AU is finding out that win you fire a coach that won 70% of his games, beat the rival 6 out of 7, that coaches aren't really lining up at the door to join that mess. AU is run by amateurs, period.
