We had a lot of bad calls and mess ups from our part but all in all we didn't lose they just won.

About 1:01 dropped pass should have been touchdown wide open
About 1:14 muffed punt catch by mutt on about 4 Yard line fell on in end zone. Can you say safety? To make it 2-0 GT.
About 2:17 FG by UGA to make it 2-3 UGA.
About 2:57 GT Touchdown by Choice 9-3 GT.
About 3:21 QB fake and runs for TD 9-10 UGA.
About 4:06 pass completed and was down yet still got tackled again when he got up. Should have been a personal foul….
About 4:29 touchdown pass 16-10 GT.
About 4:55 watch closely it was called pass interference on GT….. Clearly not.
About 5:04 following the bogus Pass interference call TD by UGA 16-16 tie…. Must have missed that part but apparently EP was Blocked.
About 5:25 with 3 secs left on clock for first half missed FG by GT to make it 19-16 GT.
About 5:39 fake WR pass to choice was intercepted but there was pass interference…….. On us is what was called. Choice was clearly run in to.
About 6:30 UGA pass knocked down behind line of scrimage which was carried all the way to the 4.…. And dropped. Should have been 26-16 GT there.
About 7:09 another dropped punt catch by UGA should have been TD by GT to make it 33-16.
About 7:38 great catch by UGA who would later score making it 33-23 GT.
About 7:57 GT FG should have made it 36-23 GT.
About 8:38 good UGA run for TD to make it 36-31 after 2 point conv was successful.
I know we lost 31-17 and 4th Q was all UGA but if it wasn’t for Momentum score wouldn’t have been that way.

Look at it this way. If everything had played out as
you say, CCG would still be our head coach. I didn't
dislike CCG & his staff at all, just I think the new
staff brings a whole new set of dynamics to the
field. More potential!

We beat ourselves last year as much as UGAG beat us. That was the legacy of Tech-UGAG football under Gailey. If Burnett doesn't fumble his return, and we drop on one of those loose balls in the EZ, it is a totally different game.

Hopefully that will change.

its bad that i'm on here on memorial day but i haven't been on-line in a while...that being said...in the most polite way possible...

get a life

"Close, but no cigar" was our MO vs. UGA under Gailey. However, losing close games year in and year out can be more maddening than being dominated throughout the same time frame.

Some seem to revise history and like to think we were dominated by the mutts. That's just not the case. Its not that I wish we kept Gailey, far from it. I just don't get why he's so reviled by so many. Some have him on par with Bill Lewis.

This post is what I imagine you would see on the Mutts board if they had lost...coulda/woulda/shoulda.

I agree on all counts.

See, the thing about Chan more than anything else in my mind, was he was just really really unlucky, and his unluck rubbed off on the rest of the team. You can go back at all of our really disappointing losses and show a similar list of stupid wretched luck and Effed up calls that led to our momentum getting crushed.

Just please one of you young bucks tell what is that awesome song about the 5:18 mark? Thanks.

We lost to Georgia for the same reason we always lose to Georgia. They have better quarterbacks than we do.

We usually match up with them across the first string pretty well on average everywhere but at the QB spot.

Making matters worse, Richt is an outstanding quarterbacks coach and he takes personal responsibility for coaching up UGA's quarterbacks.

Tech, unfortunately, had a head coach who would rather do his own tax returns than spend five minutes teaching his quarterback anything.

Switch QBs with UGa for each of the last 7 games and we win at least 5 or 6 or them. Maybe all 7.

Switch QBs with them and we might have been national champions during Calvin's junior year. Hell, I still think that if Taylor had been starting QB that year we might have only lost one or two games. It doesn't take much to succeed at QB when you had #21 to throw to...just a willingness to do it and being able to defer and not be the hero.

We had our chances against Shockley and Stafford but whichever team that had David Greene would have won that game every single time.

Somehow - - I'm actually a big fan of that guy. He was one of the best college QB's I've ever seen and he kept his mouth shut while was doing it.
