I've watched practice, and seen Brian Camp perform in practice as well as anyone at QB. Tough runner, rarely fumbles, throws accurately, especially the short passing game. Highly regarded out of Ohio as one of the top QB's there. Why is he never mentioned or given the chance? We go to a true freshman this fast as opposed to someone who might offer some poise?

Anyone have any insight?

You are speaking of the mechanics used in quarterback play which are of course necessary, but we all know that is not all that is required to play the position successfully.

Can this qb induce the other players on the field to trust him and believe in what he is attempting? Do they see him as the primary leader on offense? There is an intangible quality that all qbs need - that 'special' component we read about when a coach describes a qb.
