Why not GT, FSU, UVA, Clemson to Big East?

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't GT, FSU, UVA, Clemson move to the Big East if football $$ are what seems to be the goal?

That would put the Big East at 12 teams for football, which means a championship game.

That way the NC schools and Maryland can have their basketball conference and we don't have to look at Fridge standing on the other guy's sideline every season.

Just a thought...

BBR, not a bad idea as we could play Miami, VT, BC, Syracuse, Pitt, and West Virginia every year.

Either way, we must be in a 12 team conference somehow.
