Why not Mark Richt for Falcons?

Not a mention in the AJC today. I mentioned, at work, that he is a great coach that should be considered and noone agreed. Most are Bulldoggies who were only looking out for themselves. I think he would do a great job, and not having him at UGA would be the icing on the cake.

Richt becomes coach of the Falcons =Falcons lose a bunch of their fans who are ALSO UGA fans. The backlash in this state would be massive. The fans would be pissed because to those fans who are BOTH UGA and Falcons fans, UGA football comes first to 90% of them.

I don't want Richt to go, I want him to stay, and I want us to find a way to beat him, because if we do that then our program will be at a height that we've never ever seen consistently.
 
Shouldnt this be on the Dawg board.. I could care less about the Falcons.. and even less about Richt

Suzi, that's funny you said that.

My mom corrected me on that when I was a child. To say "I could care less" logically infers that you care to some unstated degree. To say "I couldn't care less" means that you don't care at all. Yet people STILL misuse the statement and end up looking silly.

Though we agree here, I still think you're a ding-dong.
 
i would like for them to take richt or gailey, get either one out of our hair. i am confident the fridge will be the new coach of the falcons.
 
Richt or Gailey would never be considered...too divisive. I like the new GM hire, though.
 
Gotta agree with BOR.
I hope Richt doesn't leave UGA yet. They have won 3 in a row under his regime and I don't want him to leave until we come back and top his 3 w/our 4 or more. Stay put Marky baby, we're out to getcha.
 
I disagree..I want him gone. Seems to be a decent coach, in my opinion. That kills me to say that about the mutts, too. However, Gailey has our program going in the right direction..so...

I'm not afraid of competition and want to beat him in the worst way, but it will be tough...at least for another year, I think. Then, watch out....Ball, Brown and others will be older and ready!

Gtcrew...Your not going to believe this..I just asked Another poster to check him out this afternoon..I truly believe he is....ALL his posts indicate it...He has given himself away....His posts ALWAYS have a ugag/sec/Richt slant to them ...Like all of our co-eds are ugly.....He is a BUUUUUUUUUUUULdog...with all the BUUUUUULLLL!!!!!
 
Hate to be paranoid - I've never been in on one of these ousts, but calling GT "there" did catch my attention.
 
GTCrew, you can use the board to send any note to the moderators. At the bottom right of each post, you will find a "report post" notation. All you have to do is click on that notation and then tell the moderator your thoughts.

I have used it seldom, most of the time for posts by known, self-identified dawgs who come over hear and make false accusations that cannot be verified.

Except for this recruiting season, I normally respond to any of our own family in a follow-up post. But, I do not tolerate a non-family person coming over and accusing a member of the family falsely. I will use the "report post" option immediately against a dawg exhibiting this action.
