That's too bad, I'd rather be able to say that "we beat the team that beat Miami" that "We beat the team that beat Iowa State"
 
They might have lost but boy didn't they look good! Hopefully that won't be the case in a few weeks.

'Jinxed' just ain't enough words for what B Bowden has been up against with Miami. Bowden is 11-16 vs Miami in his illustious career. He has lost to Miami almost every way imaginable, with the 4 wide FGs on the last plays of 4 games 'that would've won the game, but instead lost the game', being the most famous of the losses.
Miami has certainly been the albatross around Bowden's terrific FSU ship.
 
It is beginning to appear that Bowden nor Paterno wants the top spot. Neither can take advantage of a loss by the other.
