Hey I just went to a talk about wild bees at the local university. The botanist said you should mow your yard less to promote wild bees. Dandelions and other plants can grow in longer grass and feed bees. Long grass also provides cover for bee nests. Wild bees are important pollinators, and their numbers at believed to be in decline (as with honey bees).
Anyway it gave me an idea:
We should let the grass at BDS grow long so it has bees. We could be the first bee-friendly stadium. We'd get lots of positive press and it makes sense because we're bees.
Thoughts?
